Let's turn them into reality

You have a dream.

We have a dream.

What's the purpose of a TFP session?

Our TFP (time-for-prints) photo sessions are designed for creative work with a relaxed, casual, and fun vibe.

Our objective is to experiment with our gear, techniques, and ideas, so we can get better at creating high quality photos, directing, and creating a fun and valuable experiences for our clients, while you (the model) get to shine as the main subject, practice posing and modeling, and receive a fun experience and high quality photos for your portfolio and social media channels.

Here's the idea

communication will be key in every step so we can plan a session that produces the kind of results we both want.

Getting to know each other:

  1. Fill out our TFP inquiry form so we can get your contact information and some basic details about you. You an learn about us on our about page for now, but we will contact you to schedule a phone or video call so we can introduce ourselves and ask any questions.

Session planning consists of scheduling and creative planning

  1. Scheduling: We'll match our schedules and see when we're available to meet. It is important that we find 2-3 hours of available time so we can work without rushing, allowing time for parking, lighting setups, outfit changes, makeup, and anything we need to do before we start actually taking photos.
  2. Creative planning involves brainstorming ideas about what we want to capture (fashion, portraits, street photos, nature, studio, beach, nightlife, etc.), and this will be help us choosing locations, outfits, gear, and inspiration boars to ensure we stay in-theme and come prepared with similar ideas in mind for the session.

Documentation is boring but necessary

  1. We need a TFP agreement to ensure we are on the same page in the terms of the session, like copyright, licensing, deliverables, etc.
  2. We need a model release so that we can use the images in our marketing and portfolio. This is required since it will help us get hired by paying clients and enable us to continue doing TFP work with models like you.

Photo session expectations

  1. Have fun! we have a vision, now let's make it happen!
  2. Be there, be prepared, do the thing. Although this is not paid work, we still want to keep a level of professionalism by being punctual and prepared for the session. This means outfits, makeup, accessories, snacks, and anything you need to bring for the session.
  3. Bring a friend if it makes you feel more comfortable, just ensure that they understand not to become distracting during the session. They may or may not become part of the session, but if they do, we will need them to sign the documentation mentioned above. We have final say over whether or not they can participate.
  4. Post on social media! You're encouraged to share the process before, during, and after the session to promote yourself as a model and us as a photography business. We might also be filming to post on our social channels.

Post-production will consist of basic edits like color correction, style, and cropping, and advanced edits like skin retouching and image manipulation like adding text and other items to the photos using software. This process may take as little as 1 day or as long as a couple of weeks depending on the level of editing required and how many images are edited.

Delivery of the final images will be made via online gallery to your email, with a download PIN. You will get full-resolution images for printing and high quality viewing, and maybe web-resolution images for social media use to reduce compression issues.
